The Four Sources of Shariah is an introductory guide to the field of Usul al-Fiqh (principles of jurisprudence). Written in a simple manner, the book aims to show how rulings are derived in Islamic Shari'ah. A separate chapter is devoted to each of the four sources, the Holy Qur'an, Sunnah, Ijma and Qiyas.
